*** Admin’s Note *** … CLICK THE IMAGE FOR A CLOSER VIEW!

How many of you can name the original actors of Route 66 from this photo … “Tod” and “Buzz”?

Yeah; it’s Nostalgia time for this old fart … Historic gas station on Route 66 re-opens

WOW … I remember I was riding a Triumph 500 Motorcycle from Marine Corps Base (MCB) Camp Pendleton, CA to Las Vegas on the week-ends, passing thru these small towns along the way … so much of America’s open landscape and open highway’s have changed so much since then!!!

Before you miss a very important part of America’s history … the next time you get 2 – 3 weeks of vacation time from work … do yourself and family a huge favor before it’s completely gone forever…

1. Put your cellphone away unless you absolutely need it!
2. Grab your video camera instead!
3. Stop at numerous “out-of-the-way” places as often as you can … these will offer the largest, juiciest hamburgers that have ever hit your lips!

Are you ready to go traveling across America by vehicle?

Have you ever gone thru actual American Ghost Towns?

If you’ve never gone thru this awesome experience … check out this other story about … Roy’s Gas Station

After that, I hope you check out this awesome website about Ghost Towns of the American West
